How to Lose 20 Pounds Before Summer

It is officially crunch time and you are out of excuses. With Easter behind us, it’s now time to ditch the candy, pack away the puffy clothes that hide the pudge, and get your butt back into gear!

It’s time to get your summer body back!

Even if you haven’t really thought about that fact that in a few short weeks the invites to pool parties and beachside hangouts will start rolling in, it’s ok. You can do this quicker than you think!

To be “beach body” ready you really only need to follow three simple rules.

First, you gotta get your diet right. We don’t mean you need to start some fad crash diet, but you do need to become mindful of what you’re eating, and how much. Cut out refined sugars and carbs (sweets, bread, chips, alcohol, etc.) and focus on getting your fill of delicious veggies, fruit and lean meats. Not only will this help with weight loss but it will help your immune system and overall body function if you’ve been slacking on the nutrition front recently. Also, don’t forget to drink enough water. Your body can’t flush out fat if you don’t drink enough water. Pro tip: add a weight loss “seasoning” to one of your meals daily. This fashion rule applies to everyone, no matter weight or height. Even models would look terrible in certain styles. However, on the flip side of this, if you pick the right kind of shorts, suit or dress, you can make it look as though you just instantly lost 10 more pounds! Summer is almost here and that means no more hiding behind layers of clothing! Skin is in and it’s not too late to make a commitment to dropping those extra pounds that will get you down and keep you hiding in baggy clothes.
