Ingredients (And why they matter):

(buy in bulk since you can store all the perishables in the freezer and have enough ingredients on hand to enjoy this detox all summer long!)

  • Cucumber (fights bloat, keeps skin hydrated)
  • Banana (aids in digestion, de-bloats and keeps you regular)
  • Lemon (detoxes your body, increases immunity)
  • Pineapple (antioxidants, natural cancer fighter, reduces wrinkles)
  • Celery (detox and de-bloat)
  • Kale (Packed full of nutrients, helps digestion, increases immunity and keeps skin bright)
  • Chia Seeds (keeps you full, aids digestion, keeps you hydrated)
  • Spirulina (gives you energy, keeps you full, increases metabolism)
  • Non-dairy, unsweetened milk of your choice: almond, cashew, soy, etc… (lower calorie, adds protein)

Peel, chop and freeze all the fruits (even the lemon). Store in freezer.

Instructions (for 2 servings):

Toss the following into your blender:

  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 1 banana
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 cup pineapple
  • 2 sliced celery stalks
  • 1.5 cups of chopped kale (not the stems as they are bitter)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon spirulina powder
  • 1 cup unsweetened non-dairy milk of your choice
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup crushed ice

Blend until smooth. Pour. Add straw if you wish. Go outside. Sit with friend. Enjoy!
